STORY
Long time ago, amongst the mountains, there was a poor village with a tradition to abandon Baba (very old grandmothers) in the mountain in order to preserve food supply. The tradition was called "OBASUTE YAMA". This is an ancient Japanese legend but it seems that this story still lives in the heart of every person up to now.
物語
日本では昔、貧しい山村では、年老いた村人を山に捨ててくるという習わしがあったそうです。この劇の物語では、この日本に古くから伝わる伝説から創造されたものです。
